BE AWARE

Below are pictures of fire extinguishers our company was called by the customer to service 2 days after another company had performed yearly maintanence and recharging to.  These pictures came from the Monroe WI area.  One of the extinguishers had completely leaked down to an unusable state and the other was in the process of a slow leak that would have been completely unusable in a short period of time.  Neither one of these extinguishers would have performed in the event of an emergency and may have caused extensive loss or injury. *** Note the neck collar gasket and lubricant extending outside the neck of the fire extinguisher cylinder.  Also notice the head of the fire extinguisher does not line up with the front of the fire extinguisher label which shows that the head and valve assembly are not seated properly inside the threads of the neck.  These are things that should be taken care of by the well trained & certified company you choose to maintain your fire safety equipment, after all that is what you are paying for and that is what you are expecting.
